About Us
The Benton Volunteer Fire Department is located in Penn Yan in rural western New York. We are an all-volunteer organization that was originally chartered in 1956 and currently operates with over 40 active members staffing a Rescue, 2 Engines, a Tanker, a Miscellaneous/EMS Vehicle, a Fast Team, and a Grain Bin Rescue Team. We also provide automatic aid coverage to Bellona Fire District.
